Abstract

The results of research of hybrids of the genus Lilium L. of the “Tango” group from Section I - Asian hybrids, created on the basis of domestic and foreign varieties in conditions of the forest-steppe area of Altai Territory are presented. Estimation of decorative features of 26 selective forms of lilies belong to “Tango” group, based on 100-point scale proposed by State varieties testing service was carried out, to select most adapted varieties to conditions of Western Siberia. The range of estimation varied from 75.2 (41/12-3) up to 90.0 points (16/12-2). According to the results of the estimation, 8 forms were singled out to the elite, who scored 90-87.3 points: seven were singled out to the average fl owering period and one (18 / 12-8) was singled out to late group. They have a different color of leaves of the perianth (white, pink, yellow, lemon, yellow-orange) and thickened fl eck (magenta, crimson and red). A comprehensive evaluation of elite forms was carried out according to the methodology of V. N. Bylov. The rating of elite forms regards economic and biological features is ranged from 20 up to 44 points and included following characteristics: fl owering period, fl ower size, fl owering productivity, reproductive capacity and plant height. Abundantly fl owering hybrids with a bloom period of more than 20 days (16/12-2, 41/12-4 and 22/12-1), as well as varieties of high reproductive capacity (18/12-1, 18/12-3 and 41/12-1) have been selected. In 2016 with large sire of fl ower (diameter from 14.5 to 16.0 cm) were fi ve elite forms (17/12-1, 16/12-2, 22/12-1, 41/12-1 and 18/12-3). Based on comprehensive assessment, most valuable elite forms have been proposed: 16/12-2 (134 points), 22/12-1 (128.3) and 18/12-1 (124 points).
